The J. Crew Drop-Waist Mixy Dress is one of my favorites. What I love most about the dress is the design, the quality, and the versatility. It’s a popover dress (no fussy zipper) that can be styled for work, for play, or for a fun date night. And, the neckline makes it easy to pair the dress with a classic denim jacket or with a blazer. The dress is lined, but the lining is not too thick. The dress is offered in three easy to style colors–black, natural, and blushed peach.

As J. Crew puts it, the dress is “Crafted from stretch cotton on top and crisp cotton poplin on bottom, it couldn’t be any more effortless. Plus, it comes with a face-framing square neckline and pretty pintuck details along the hem for added visual interest.” The neckline makes it easy to wear a necklace, too! The airy fabrics make it easy to stay cool while also looking stylish and put together. The J. Crew Drapey Pleated Shirtdress in Leopard Print is a classic wardrobe builder that will last for years to come. The dress can be worn to work, to brunch, or to dinner for a date night. The fit is incredible. Again, no fussy zippers, but a stylish dress that elongates. And, no button popping in the breast area.
