Hi Everyone!
This is a very tough announcement for me to make, but my MIL passed away yesterday. Unfortunately, my amazing husband found her dead on the floor in her apartment. She has been sick for a very long time, and he was doing everything he could to convince her to move to an assisted living place/nursing home. She said she wouldn’t do it, and we think that it’s because she knew it was her time. I firmly believe the following quote:
My MIL LOVED my husband with all of her heart. He was her only child. And, she raised an AMAZING son and husband. I’ve watched for years as he has loved, honored, and taken care of her. And, I’m blown away by how he does the same for me every single minute of the day. She left him the sweetest note about how he was her joy and how he is the reason why she fought so long and so hard. This note has given us SO much hope. I’m eternally grateful to her for leaving it and every single detail about her wishes and insurance.
Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.
Thanks SO much for being here.
