Hi Everyone!
Happy Sunday! And, Happy Easter *if* you celebrate! I hope that you’ve had a great weekend! It has been an incredibly relaxing weekend around here, but that has been the case for the last year and I am not mad about it! We watched the NCAA WBB championship game earlier. It was an incredible game. I am almost always cheering for the unexpected winner, so I really wanted Arizona to win. They played a great game and came up a point short, sadly! Adia Barnes, the Arizona head coach, has an incredible story of resilience as a working mom; her story is SO inspiring. And, the work that she has done to build this Arizona program is equally inspiring! Congrats to Stanford, they definitely endured a lot this season (as did all of the other teams in the midst of this panini).
Now, switching gears to fun fashion! I love great transitional pieces that help to bridge the gap from extremely cold temperatures to those days when it’s not cold enough for a thick coat, but layers are still necessary. A great little black dress with long sleeves or a cap/three-quarter sleeve is the perfect transitional piece in my opinion. So, lately, I have been reaching for versatile black dresses. In my opinion, a classic black dress is a wardrobe must. And, a black dress with polka dots is the icing the cake! The dress featured in the images below is one of my faves because it’s SO flowy and fun. The lace collar details are the perfect complement for the polka dots. I took my normal size XL in the dress; fit is TTS to slightly roomy.
Here are IRL pictures of the dress. Photos by Kirstie Dunston Photography:
Again, I absolutely LOVEEE this dress! 10/10 recommend!
