Summer Eyelet!

Happy Monday! I hope that you had a wonderful weekend! It was SOOOO quiet and relaxing around here! And, to be honest, I am SO looking forward to more weekends like that.

Today, I am sharing one of my favorite recent purchases. I absolutely LOVEEEE eyelet, so I was super excited when J. Crew released the Side-Slit Maxi Skirt in Eyelet and the Puff-Sleeve Smocked Top in Eyelet. This set is absolutely stunning. And, I love that the set is offered in solid colors, black and white. These pieces are incredibly versatile; the pieces can be worn together or as separates. I paired the pieces together in the images below; however, I plan to wear the top with denim and the skirt with a fun, patterned button-down shirt.

There are SO many ways to style these gorgeous pieces. And, although the shirt is cropped, pairing it with the high-waisted skirt prevents showing skin if that is your desire!

I love this set so much that I purchased the white version, too! In terms of sizing, the top fits TTS; I am wearing my normal size XL. The skirt fits large; I sized down from an XL to a medium. There is an elastic waistband. The material is heavy without being too weighted. The quality, the fit, and the design are all superb. I cannot recommend this set enough.
