Yep, you read that right, I’m reviewing a dress! This is the second dress that I have tried/worn since my wedding day, July 26, 2003. I am not sure why I typically shy away from dresses, but I do. The J. Crew Aquatic Floral Silk Dress is SO pretty that I had to try it.
Here are two IRL pictures of the dress:
I took my normal size 14 in this beauty. The fit and the quality is superb in my opinion. This print is one of the many reasons why I love J. Crew SO much. I felt extra sassy in this beauty. I know that this is the start of branching out more for me. I am reminded of this super funny “Folding a Fitted Sheet” Lowe’s commercial in which the guy feels “like he can do anything” after following the tips to improve his lawn.
So, I said yes to the dress! I am wearing the dress with the J. Crew Schoolboy Blazer in Linen. The Regent Blazer in Linen looks great with the dress, too.
Have you tried this dress?

You look absolutely gorgeous! You should definitely wear more dresses. This outfit is the perfect Spring/Summer look.
This looks gorgeous on you and would be perfect for Easter or a wedding.
A dress and blazer was my uniform when I was teaching in the spring and early fall. Let me know if you end up on the hunt for any old school J. Crew dresses – lord knows I'm not using mine anymore! 😉
OMG, you are adorable in this ensemble!!! Glad you said YES to this dress!
I haven't not worn this dress yet though I bought it a few weeks ago. I am going to wear it tomorrow. It looks great on you! Alicewww.happinessatmidlife.com
Greetings Rynetta – I'm with you on the dress thing . . . just not a part of my wardrobe. It's a banner day if I wear a skirt! This looks lovely on you – I like the pairing with the statement pearls and white blazer. Enjoy! Jennifer
This dress is stunningly gorgeous on you!
