Leopard print appears to be making a fierce comeback this season. The print is front and center at several retailers and there are SO many fun pieces in a variety of textures. Leopard has always been an incredibly popular, classic, and versatile print, but the print appeared to decrease in popularity for a bit. The amazing Jenna Lyons declared that leopard is a “neutral” several years ago. Despite its ostensible waning popularity for a few seasons, the print has never gone out of style. Whether you’re going to work, heading to brunch with friends, or going on a fun date night with your significant other, leopard is a versatile classic that will create the perfect look for any occasion!
So, let’s dive in and talk about why you should own a leopard print dress and the many ways to style it for multiple occasions!
Why You Should Buy a Leopard Print Dress:
I am convinced that leopard print is here to stay! And, I am convinced that every woman should own a leopard print dress because the print is not a trend that will disappear in a few months. The print has staying power, it is incredibly versatile, and it is effortless to style. One of my favorite things about wearing a leopard print dress is that it can be dressed up with heels, classic loafers, and gold accessories, or it can be dressed down with sneakers, ballet flats, and classic hoop earrings.
I love that leopard looks great with bold pops of color, specifically red, or with neutrals. Adding the right accessories to a leopard look is the key to making the print stand out and to making the print really pop.
The Tobie Button-Front Pleated Shirtdress from Anthropologie is one of my favorite recent purchases. The dress cinches the waist beautifully and it looks great with heels, with sneakers, or with flats because it is the perfect length. I purchased my typical size XL and I have loved pairing this dress with a neutral crossbody, with bold pops of red, with classic loafers, with sneakers (specifically white converse), and with red heels.
