Hi Everyone!
So, I am a huge fan of midi skirts. Initially, I was super nervous that the midi length would not work for me, but I was SO wrong. The length is actually ideal on me!
Here is a quick picture of the J. Crew Midi Sweater Skirt in “Neon Watermelon”:
Fit/Details: I took my normal size 14 in this skirt, so the fit is TTS. This skirt is seriously fabulous (it gets 5-stars on the website). There is an elastic waistband that helps to hide the lumps and the bumps. And, the weight of the skirt is ideal. It’s not too heavy or too thin, but just right. The Merino Wool material is not prone to snagging in my opinion. I highly recommend this beauty. I love how well this skirt pairs with the J. Crew Denim Jacket in Tyler Wash and the J. Crew Striped Tissue Turtleneck T-Shirt.
Thanks for stopping by!
I own the navy and I love it!
JSR: I had to snag the navy, too! This is a really fabulous skirt. The fit/quality is superb.I hope that you're enjoying your weekend!
I just got the last one in petite. Can't wait to get it. You look amazing as always. (I've been following your styling for a while now) Thank You!
Holly: YAY!!! I hope that you've received your skirt and that you're enjoying it! And, thank you SO much!!!
I've been admiring this skirt since it first appeared on-line. I really have nowhere to wear it, but I so want it. I see the red is sold out. Debating between the blue and the black. Thanks for the review!!
maryeb: You're very welcome! What did you decide???
Thank you for giving me an excellent look on how that skirt SHOULD look. In the style guide it was horrific : http://atypical60.com/2016/01/31/i-cover-the-crew-lets-look-at-the-february-j-crew-style-guide/
Catherine: I really appreciate the compliment; however, I was very inspired by the style guide styling. I have a divergent viewpoint on the article you posted. I think that J. Crew offers superb styling options both in the style guide and in retail stores. Thanks for visiting!
