Hi Everyone!
I hope that you had a Merry Christmas (if you celebrate)! I had a great day with my amazing hubby! We are SO unconventional and I love the holiday traditions that we are creating for ourselves. We had tacos for lunch, then we ate leftovers from a great pot of Creole Chili that my husband made for dinner Thursday night. We watched NBA basketball for most of the day! The holidays are super tough without my Mom now, so I appreciate these low key days!
There are bound to be tons of popbacks as returns roll in from holiday shopping, so I thought that I would share a review of the J. Crew Black Watch Tuxedo Pant in Crimson since these beauties may reappear on the website. Initially, I passed on these pants because I wasn’t sure about how they would look on me. Then, I ordered the J. Crew Black Watch Tuxedo Pant, which I love, so I decided to try the “crimson” version, too.
The “crimson” Black Watch Pant:
Fit Details: These pants are cut very slim, so definitely size up. I sized up *one* size from a 14 to a 16. The reviews on the website also indicate the need to size up. These pants are superb. The quality is exceptional. There is a wide waist band that I think helps to hide lumps and bumps. The material is substantial without being too thick or too bulky. And, these beautiful pants are lined. I love the pattern on these pants because it’s so vibrant. J. Crew nails patterns and colors like no other retailer in my opinion.

Hi, I hope you had a lovely holiday. This is a beautiful outfit, love plaid on the bottom and how you styled it with the regent and the blouse. I hope you don't mind my saying but I would tailor the knee to ankle area a little for a more fitted look. My sandstone sea plaid sweater arrived today and it did not disappoint. I have a skirt in the same light shade from Lands End, they call the color flax. I still wish I had a dressy option for it and am considering the navy faux leather pleated skirt but it's on backorder. Thank you for all your pictures and reviews, you are my favorite blogger/instagram poster. Have a happy and healthy New Year!
Loren: Hi there! I had a great holiday. I hope that you did, too! Thank you SO much! I really appreciate your honest feedback. Interestingly, my online VPS said something similar. I like the wider leg, though. However, I totally see your point!I am SO glad that you really like your sandstone plaid sweater. That sweater is one of my faves!Have a great New Year!
