Coat Check!

Happy Wednesday!! I hope that you’re having a great week! As I have said for the past few months, it has been a super quiet and relaxing week over here. I’ve spent most of my days at home working on building my brand! I hope that you’re staying put (if you can) and I also hope that you’re wearing a mask, social distancing, and washing your hands consistently.

Okay, off my soapbox! Today, I want to share my favorite (recent) J Crew coat purchases. If you have followed my blog or IG for a bit, you know that I LOVE bold and vibrant colors. And, I LOVEEEE colorful coats. The J. Crew Car Coat in Houndstooth in Italian Wool is one of my absolute FAVES. The coat is absolutely stunning. I purchased both versions of the coat in the images below because they are SOOOO striking and versatile. Here are two stock images of the coat (and see below for IRL images):

The product details on the website describe the fit as “relaxed,” and this is incredibly accurate. I am typically a size XL in coats and shirts, but I sized down to a Large in this beauty. And, I have plenty of room to layer chunky sweaters underneath. I styled the coat in the images above with a a cream sweater and jeans. I highly recommend pairing the coat with the J. Crew Alpaca-Blend Turtleneck Sweater with Shoulder Buttons and the 10′ Demi-Boot Crop Jean in Gimlet Wash. I took my normal size in the jeans, but I sized down to a large in the sweater. The coat also looks great with white denim! Finally, the coat gets a 5-star website rating. I totally see why! 10/10 recommend!
