Hi Everyone!

Happy February! Happy Black History Month!!! I am super excited about this month! While I am not a V-Day celebration girl (show me love all year), I am totally here for the V-Day clothing collection at Target. There are SOOO many cute and incredibly versatile styles that transcend February 14! I stopped by a Target store this weekend to grab a few of my favorite pieces. I have been super impressed with the designs and the quality of the clothing at Target lately!

Let’s jump into my fitting room reviews! I really wanted to try the Women’s Button-Down Cardigan from A New Day, so I was glad that the store I visited had the sweater in both color ways. The striped cardigan is available in pink and red and black and white. I love that either color way can be worn with a cute tulle skirt (the way it’s styled online and in retail stores), with jeans and a graphic t-shirt or button-down shirt, with a dress as an added layer for work, or with dress pants. The cardigans are superrrrr cozy and the quality is amazing. I purchased a size XXL in the black and white version because I wanted an oversized and slouchier fit. I love layering cozy sweaters over dresses when I am teaching. I purchased a size Large in the pink and red version of the sweater to wear with the pink tulle skirt. So, the sweater seems to fit large in my opinion.

What I love most about the tulle skirt with this sweater is that the skirt adds that wow factor! The tulle is not overpowering and lays perfectly against the hips. The tulle is not too puffy and it looks great paired with sneakers. I would also pair this skirt with a classic white-button down shirt and a v-neck sweater. Website reviews complain that the skirt is see through, but I did not have that problem. And, a slip would solve that problem easily if it is an issue. The skirt fits TTS and it is also offered in a cute black and white color combination.

V-Day Sweaters at Target:

There are SO many fun sweaters at Target that are perfect for V-Day (and beyond)! I am LOVING (pun intended) the heart cardigan sweater, the Heart Postage Stamp Graphic Cardigan, in the images below. The heart buttons add the perfect touch to an already adorable cardigan that pairs well with so many wardrobe pieces! I purchased the size XXL in the sweater because I wanted a slouchier fit. I highly recommend this beautiful sweater because the quality is exceptional and the versatility is off the charts. There are so many fun ways to style this beauty!!!
