Happy Monday! And, happy first day of Black His/Herstory month although I am sure that I don’t need to tell you that we should celebrate Black excellence 365 days of the year! I will be highlighting several overlooked, forgotten, and lost Black voices in my Instagram stories throughout this month and beyond! Be sure to follow me at really.rynetta!
Today, I am sharing a post that I meant to publish yesterday, but the day got away from me! This is the perfect weather for wearing cozy, comfortable, and cute winter sweaters! So, today, I am sharing several of my favorites to wear! Initially, I passed on the sweater that I am featuring in the images below. I loved the look; however, I was not sure about how to style the sweater. And, I try to avoid buying pieces that just sit in my closet. I like to have at least two or three styling options when I purchase an item. So, I passed on the sweater. Then, I saw it styled beautifully on someone on IG (check out my IG post from yesterday to see her gorgeous styling) and I immediately regretted my decision. And, you know how the rest of the story goes, right? Of course the sweater was sold out and I had to hunt it down, LOl! Thank goodness for Nordstrom! Remember that Nordstrom sells clothing from several brands including Madewell, J. Crew, Lilly Pulitzer, and Kate Spade if you’re ever look for something that is sold out! And, their rewards program, the Nordy Club, has incredible benefits!!

In terms of sizing, the sweater is an oversized fit. I took my normal size XL, but the size Large would have worked, too! And, the styling possibilities are endless. I paired the sweater with dark denim; however, it looks great with a pleated midi skirt, a cashmere crewneck sweater, and booties, too!
