Styling Stripes for Summer!

I hope that you’re feeling extra loved today **if** you’re a mom! I am SO looking forward to wearing easy breezy summer dresses when the temperatures are scorching! So, today, I am sharing several of my favorite striped summer dresses! Recently, I purchased the Madewell Button-Front Gathered Mini Dress in Stripe Poplin and I LOVE it because it’s SO easy to wear, it’s SO versatile, and it’s SO effortless to style. I love when an outfit comes together without too much thought. This dress is also super lightweight, so it’s perfect for extremely hot and humid days.
Three Ways to Style Stripes for Summer:
I love pairing summer stripes with pops of color, so I paired my dress with a pop of color. Red elevates a classic look effortlessly and the Madewell Greta Ballet Flats in “kilt red” are the perfect complement to this summer dress. This dress is really fabulous! The fit, the quality, and the versatility are all superb. And, the dress is offered in white! I love the flared out bottom because it accentuates curvier figures beautifully. And, the rolled sleeves are perfect for summer temperatures (I love that they can be rolled down if it gets too cold at work or inside buildings). I purchased my typical size XL in this dress and my typical size 9 in the shoes.
