Hi Everyone!
Happy Monday! I hope that you had a fantastic weekend and that you’re having the best Monday! It was a super quiet weekend around here filled with NCAA tournament basketball watching and good food. I am fully vaccinated and the amazing Toby has one more shot to go. However, I feel like the world is reopening too fast, so we’re staying put at home until we feel comfortable going out like we did prior to the pandemic. We make quick trips to the mall and to grab to-go orders (masked up with sanitizer in hand and adhering to social distancing guidelines), but that is about it!
Switching gears to fun topics like spring clothing………I love great transitional pieces that help us make the move from cold weather to those in-between days when it’s chilly, but not too cold. For example, it was super windy and a bit chilly here in KY yesterday, but it was not cold enough to wear a heavy coat. So, I love wearing sweater-blazers or lightweight cardigans on days like that! And, I love pairing bold stripes with lightweight sweaters. The look featured in the images below is one of my faves because the dress is SOOOOO gorgeous and it’s the perfect spring and transitional look. The dress can be worn sleeveless or with a cardigan the way that I styled it.

Again, this dress is absolutely stunning. I love the v-neck and the design SO much. And, this bow is everything (Kirstie tied the perfect bow during our shoot)!!! At this moment, the dress is sold out, but I would continue to check the website for returns. I am wearing my normal size 16, so the dress fits TTS in my opinion. And, there are other gorgeous J. Crew ruby stripes currently in stock including a fantastic rugby stripe ruffle skirt that I cannot wait to get my hands on!
Here are the details of what I’m wearing with the dress (affiliate links below):
