Hi Everyone!
I was super excited to see J. Crew offer the No. 2 Pencil Skirt in Double-Serge Cotton in the gorgeous Warm Jade color. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE beautiful shades of green. This skirt does not disappoint. Here are a few IRL pictures of the skirt:
I can’t wait to style this wonderful skirt!! See the No. 2 Pencil Skirt in Double-Serge Cotton in Warm Jade on AudreyBella on her wonderful blog, Life is Short…Buy the shoes here.

I will end this post with 2 pictures that reflect my effort to be a better wife in 2012. One way that I hope to be a better wife is by affirming my wonderful hubby daily. What better way to do that than by wearing a t-shirt that says it all?
Thanks for stopping by!
LOL–love the shirts! I love the pencil skirt on you. Since I have the double-serge in the veridian green color, I have my sights set on the casablanca blue color in the cotton version. That cobalt color is to die for!
Jeals! That skirt is a phenom color – you'll have a blast remxing it. I want it to match it with my scalloped black lace top. Swoon. 😛 and LOL @ the tee 😛 too funny!Tasia
My new favorite skirt! I was just trying mine on today to figure out what top to pair with it. The color is TDF!
The skirt looks great on you. Is the color close to the viridian green wool one? In the catalog it looks more of what I would call an emerald or Christmas green, but my monitor puts it close to the viridian shade.
AppGal: Thanks, that's my favorite shirt! People always ask me if my husband really rocks, and I'm happy to say yes, emphatically!I really like the Casablanca Blue, so I grabbed it too. I can't wait to style/wear these beauties! J. Crew really does color and pencil skirts well!Tasia: LOL! What a great styling idea for this skirt! You rock. And, you're right, this color is gorgeous!!!Hollylovescrew: This is my new favorite skirt too!!! Please let me know how you style it!Mary: Thanks SO much!! I think that the Warm Jade color is darker than the Viridian Green shade. I will take side-by-side pictures in the morning and edit this post to show the difference! Thanks SO much for being here ladies!!
Thanks for the clarification on the green color. Sounds like I should branch out into another color since it's close to the winter skirt. Those blue-greens were all but non existent for many years and I feel like I need to stock up for the next drought! Yellow-greens make me look like I have a liver disease. Not good.
Mary: You're welcome! I hear you about the blue-greens being absent. I'm super excited that the blue-green color seems to be a major staple this season. And, like you, yellow, particularly up top, makes me look super pale. Thanks for being here!
