Hi Everyone!
I received the J. Crew No. 2 Pencil Skirt in Pop Art Polka Dot yesterday. This skirt was love at first sight for me when it appeared on the website! I LOVE polka dots. Here are a few IRL pictures of the skirt:
What do you think of the J. Crew No. 2 Pencil Skirt in Pop Art Polka Dot? Do tell!
Thanks for stopping by!
The skirt looks great on you, really flatters your curves, I wish I have more of them. The unlined dots would give me a headache but if they don't bother you, then go for it. It will go with any of the bright tops you have.
Wow that skirt is very flattering on you!!! I agree with ajc, any brightly colored top would make that skirt pop!Love it on you, thanks for sharing.
the skirt looks very flattering and i think it reminds me of kate spade.can you believe i have never tried a jcrew pencil skirt?
Very cute! and it looks fabulous on you!!
Love this on you! I just wish the dots were spaced further apart for me…it almost is too modern for me. Did you end up keeping the other j.crew collection polka dot pencil from earlier this year? They seem to look very similar–which one do you prefer?
ajc: Thanks SO much!!! I think I overlooked the unlined dots because I like the pattern so much. And, I'm with you, a bright color top will really make this skirt pop!!MB: My pleasure, thanks SO much for your kind words! And, thanks SO much for being here! I'm with you and ajc, a bright top will really make the pattern of this skirt stand out.Ina: Thanks SO much!! I totally agree, this skirt is really Kate Spade-ish! Oh, you must try a J. Crew pencil skirt; it would look great on you!!!My4Boys: Thanks SO much! I'm super glad that J. Crew offers this skirt in my size!!!AppGal: Thanks SO much!! Okay, so shamefully, I asked myself the same question you asked about the collection polka dot skirt. I did keep the collection skirt (hangs head in shame!). I prefer the double-serge cotton material over the material of the collection skirt, but I love them both! Thanks SO much for being here ladies!!!
Ooooo it looks better in real life! I'm starting to get excited for this print in pants….altho I'm sure it will be waaaay over $150 CND 🙁 boo.Tasia
Tasia: I totally agree that this print looks better in real life! And, yes, more than $150 for the pants in this print deserves a *big* boo!!!!Thanks SO much for being here!

I love this skirt, how does it run? Like all the other cotton dble serged skirts??? I find I have to size up one when I purchase their Ikat skirts or ones made of a unique fabric. Also have you seen the school boy blazer in the cherry color? I want to purchase it but am afraid of how bright it may be and it is final sale. Love your sets on Polyvore! :))
addicted to JCrew/Ann Taylor!!: I took my normal size 14 in the No. 2 Pencil Skirt in Pop Art Polka Dot. I totally agree with you that certain patterns/fabrics of J. Crew pencil skirts fit smaller/differently than others. About the Cherry Schoolboy Blazer: I haven't seen the cherry in person; however, I own the decadent red version, which I think is a nice shade of red without being too bright. I'm happy to take pictures of the decadent red color if you think that will help to make a decision. Just let me know! Thanks SO much for your kind comments about my polyvore sets!! What is your polyvore handle? And, I followed your blog in Google Reader, but it suddenly disappeared from my feed. Will you email me?Thanks SO much for being here!!!
I am Dauchka22 on polyvore, I sent you an email!
addicted to JCrew/Ann Taylor: Great, I'm already following your great sets!!! I'm checking my email now. Thanks SO much!!!
