OOTD (Tuesday): Tulle(rrific)

Hi Everyone!

Here is the outfit that I wore to teach yesterday. I received SO many compliments.  I love this combination because it is SO colorful, bright, and fun!  And, this skirt is hands down one of my favorites.

I LOVEEE a feminine frilly tulle skirt.  And, I especially love the versatility of the one that I wore yesterday.  This skirt can be styled SOOO many fun ways.  I have worn it multiple ways styled with a classic bow blouse, a turtleneck sweater, a fun striped sweater, and with a graphic t-shirt and leather jacket.  The styling possibilities are seriously endless.  I love the idea of adding colorful and fun sunglasses to this look! And, if you are on the fence about wearing this skirt, I would encourage you to wear what you love.  I receive lots of comments from blog readers and Instagram followers saying that they do not feel confident wearing a piece like this tulle skirt, but they love it.  Here is the deal:  do YOU.  Please stop letting other people dictate what you do and what you wear.  As long as it is flattering for your body type, wear it!!! This skirt is incredibly flattering and fun and I highly recommend it.

A waist cinching belt, platform or glitter shoes, and crystal earrings are the perfect complement to this look.  These accessories add the right amount of “pop”!  This skirt does not add volume at all.  Indeed, it is actually super slimming.  Adding a long coat helps to elongate the legs, too!

Again, this colorful combination is one  of my faves.  I totally encourage you to add a tulle skirt to your wardrobe if you do not have one already.  And, I encourage you to wear it wherever you want!
