J Crew Smocked Skirt in Rainbow Stripe

The J Crew Smocked Skirt in Rainbow Stripe is hands down one of my favorite skirts, EVER!  The design, the pattern, and the quality are all amazing.  I literally gasped when I pulled this skirt out of the box.  The smocked skirt is SOOOO beautiful and SOOOO versatile.  I plan to style the skirt the way it is styled on the website with a classic shirt and statement earrings.  I also plan to style this beauty with a white v-neck t-shirt and a denim jacket.  The styling possibilities are seriously endless when it comes to this skirt!  The J. Crew website has a “Now and Later” segment that also pairs this gorgeous skirt with a beautiful cashmere sweater.

The skirt fits TTS to slightly roomy, so I am wearing my normal size 16.  There is a side zip and the smocking creates a really flattering silhouette.  I will note that the smocking does not lay perfectly when I move.  This may be an issue for some people, but not for me. I love the skirt.  I think that it is stunningly gorgeous:

The flared hem on this J Crew smocked skirt is SOOOOO adorable!  I paired the skirt with a bold pink shoe for this image, but again, the shoe styling possibilities are endless.  There are so many colors from which to choose in the skirt (black, green, white, blue).  Finally, I plan to pair the skirt with a straw bag.  I highly recommend this beauty!

Also, I will review and post images of the following pieces tomorrow.  I absolutely LOVE the High-neck Cotton Poplin Dress with Belt.  The dress is SO flattering and cute!!! Fit is TTS.  And, this dress is a great transitional piece that will move easily into fall!

Finally, our 16-year wedding anniversary is tomorrow!!!! I cannot wait to share our anniversary pictures with you.  I am SO blessed that I get to spend the rest of my life with an incredible husband!
