Happy (almost) weekend! I hope that you’re having a great week! It has been super hot in KY most of the summer, so I have been living in easy breezy, effortless dresses. I love wearing popover dresses that are easy to style and easy to wear when it is scorching hot outside. And, J. Crew flat out nailed it with the design and fit of the J. Crew Puff-Sleeve Smocked-Waist Midi Dress. This dress is fabulous. The smocking is perfectly placed and the puff-sleeve detail is superb. There are SOOOO many ways to style this beautiful dress, too!

Styling the J. Crew Puff-Sleeve Smocked-Waist Midi Dress

I styled my J. Crew Puff-Sleeve Smocked-Waist Midi Dress with a raffia foldover clutch, silver earrings, and tan sandals. The floral version of this dress would look great with strappy sandals, too, and there are SO many colors from which to pull (orange, blue, yellow, or pink). This gorgeous dress is also offered in solid colors (black and blue) and a gorgeous dotted print!

I am a huge fan of this silhouette. This is the perfect summer dress for a fun date night, for brunch with friends, for vacation, or for a day of errands! I am wearing my typical size XL. Please note that my dress is gifted. I love this dress SO much that I purchased it in the blue and black colors, too!
