J. Crew Plaid Ruffle Mini Skirt in Double-Serge Wool

Hi Everyone!

I have been eyeing the J. Crew Plaid Ruffle Mini Skirt in Double-Serge Wool since it appeared on the J. Crew website!  The skirt is the cutest, but I was concerned that at about 17 1/2 inches it would be too short.  So, I decided to try the tall version for extra length.  I am SO glad that I did because this skirt is spectacular.  I see why it has received multiple 5-star reviews on the website.  The quality of the fabric is outstanding; the material is substantial, sturdy, cozy, and heavy.  And, the fit is SO flattering.  Moreover, this piece is so versatile  The styling possibilities are endless.  Here are a few IRL pictures of the skirt:
