I’ve been thinking a lot about the benefits of having a wonderful J. Crew personal shopper lately. So, I decided to create a post about the wonderful complimentary service. The J. Crew website encourages using the service, suggesting that doing so guarantees that you will “never worry about what you’re going to wear again.” And, a few years ago I saw a statement that said something about never wanting to shop without your PS again. I agree with both of these statements. I LOVE both of my personal shoppers. I have an in-store and online PS, so I feel like I’m covered from all angles.
My store PS is the absolute BEST. I’ve worked with her since 2008. We have a great rapport; I trust her wholeheartedly. She knows me well, and she literally remembers EVERY item I purchase from J. Crew and other stores. And, she’s always honest with me about fit. I credit my store PS for changing my style. When I started shopping with her, I only wanted to purchase jackets (you couldn’t get me to even look at a skirt or a necklace). Now, because of her, I’ve learned how to maximize my wardrobe, and more important, how to accessorize with jewelry and scarves. My store PS must be awesome if my wonderful hubby repeatedly says, “wow, that’s a great outfit. Christy rocks.”
My online PS is also wonderful; she consistently contacts me about upcoming rollouts/products, and she’s located several “sold out” items for me. I love the personal shopper service. Do you have a personal shopper? Do tell about your experience!
