Hi Everyone!
I received the J. Crew No. 2 Pencil Skirt in Double-Serge Cotton in Succulent Green and Neon Pink earlier today. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these colors. Here are a few IRL pictures:
Succulent Green:
Please excuse the wrinkles. I took pictures of these skirts as soon as I took them out of the bag!
Neon Pink:
What do you think of the J. Crew No. 2 Pencil Skirt in Double-Serge Cotton in Succulent Green and Neon Pink? Do tell!
Thanks for stopping by!
Great colors!
Misty Lynn: I totally agree! I love these colors! Thanks SO much for being here!
Love them!!!! How different is the green one from the jade? I have the jade, is this one worth purchasing or are they so similar in color?
addicted to JCrew/Ann Taylor: I love these skirts too!!! I think that the Succulent Green is really different from the Warm Jade. The Succulent Green is much lighter than the Warm Jade. Let me know if you grab the Succulent Green. I'd love to know how you style the skirt! Thanks SO much for being here!
LOVE these colors and the skirts look fabulous on you too. Now I need to buy them also! Thanks for posting. I love pencil skirts too. :0)
kirbydog: Thanks SO much!!! You're super sweet. I LOVE these colors too! I'm convinced that J. Crew does color better than any other retailer. Please let me know if you grab these beautiful skirts. I'd love to know how you style them! And, you're very welcome, I enjoy sharing my pencil skirt love with fellow pencil skirt lovers! Thanks SO much for being here!
I've usually stayed away from the solid cotton pencil skirts because I feel like they would wrinkle really easily – but these jewel-y colors are gorge!
Lisa: I agree, these colors are gorgeous!! And, you're right, the cotton skirts do wrinkle a bit. The colors just keeping drawing me in!Thanks SO much for being here!
Gorgeous! Are these the same pink and green shades as the Garden Floral print? If so, these would be so cute with the Cotton Crepe cardigan in Garden Floral… which is currently on my must-have list. 🙂
Rachel: I totally agree about these colors being gorgeous!! And, yes, I think that the pink and green shades of these skirts are quite similar to the pink and green shades in the Garden Floral print. OOOOOO, what a great styling idea you mention! Thanks SO much for being here!
Oh dear, I must have that neon azalea so that I can have hot pink pencil skirts for both summer and winter. How does the color compare to the wool version? The cotton looks like it is darker and more fuchsia than the wool, but with J.Crew's website depictions it's impossible to tell. (IMO the wool version is a little more Pepto Bismol, not that there is anything wrong with it, as I love pink!)
Hexicon: Oh dear is right, LOL! I squealed when I saw the cotton version of this skirt in Neon Pink. Like you, I wanted the cotton version so that I'd have a hot pink pencil skirt for summer and winter. You're spot on that the wool version looks like Pepto Bismol (which doesn't bother me either!), while the cotton version is a bit darker. I think that the cotton version is more fuchsia-y, as you point out. I can snap a side-by-side picture of the two skirts if that would help! Please let me know if you grab the cotton version. I'd love to know how you style it!Thanks SO much for being here!
So funny – I just ordered these exact two colors about 10 minutes ago!! 🙂
Lindsey B.: LOL!!! Great minds think alike! Please let me know how you style these beautiful colors!!!Thanks SO much for being here!!!
Thanks so much for sharing the pics. Every time I want to order something from JC I am always looking for posts like these so I can see the colors/clothes in real life! I love the dark pink – may have to cave in and order!
