Hi Everyone!
I was super excited to see the new arrivals on the J. Crew website this morning! Here’s what I’m loving:
The Schoolboy Blazer in Stripe Linen:
I love this classic look! I’ve been wearing navy a lot lately, so this blazer will fit right into my color plan at the moment!
I’m also loving the Water Lily Necklace. I LOVE turquoise:
This necklace is absolutely adorable!
Finally, I’m loving the Silk Cutaway Top:
I layer everything, so this will be a great wardrobe staple for me!
That’s what I’m loving, what J. Crew new arrivals are you loving? Do tell!
Thanks for stopping by!
I love the jacket as well – so cute! the striped pencil skirt is great as well, but if you saw my post today, you know i am trying to avoid the pencil skirts for awhile!
WMM: The jacket is adorable, right? I can't wait to see it IRL! And, LOL about the pencil skirts. I hear you! Thanks SO much for being here!
I didn't see this cutaway top. I love the short sleeves. I'm heading over to the website now. Hopefully, you review this top, Rynetta. I'm interested in seeing how it fits.
Angie's Closet: It's an adorable top! I'll definitely post a review soon! Thanks SO much for being here!
I like the jacket-very cute! I tried the necklace and it was a no go for me. It flopped over because the stones are heavy and the reinforcement in the back was not able to support the weight. If you compare it to the back of the bracelet you will see what I mean. It is pretty and I hope it works for you.
JulieStyles: I totally agree that this jacket is absolutely adorable! I grabbed the necklace earlier today, and I'm hoping that it doesn't flop over. That's a huge bummer because it is so freaking cute. Thanks SO much for being here!
I will have to go check out the new arrivals! I really love that striped blazer, too bad J Crew ones never seem to work for me lol
Tara: There are some super cute new arrivals!!! That's a bummer about the schoolboy blazers not fitting you well! You look great in everything! Thanks SO much for being here!
I want to add the striped blazer from Jc or the outlet site and the searsucker pencil skirt this season. I'm really trying to watch my spending as I have 3 kids in braces and my oldest is getting her permit! LOL! Kids are expensive and that doesn't leave much for Mom :)) I don't get to comment much but, I have been loving your outfits and your blog!
addicted to JCrew/Ann Taylor: You're super, super sweet, thanks SO much!!! Oh, I hear you about kids being expensive; I know that I was an expensive kid, LOL. We don't have kids, but 3 kids in braces, oh my! That has to cost a fortune. Let me know if you try either one of the blazers! Thanks SO much for being here!
OOPS! I forget to ask you this major question! I made a big purchase this winter and got 4 hacking blazers (mint, peri, orange and purple) so, the buttons keep falling off on the orange and peri one! They aren't tight but, rather on the loose side, has this happened to you????? Get's me mad. 🙁
addicted to JCrew/Ann Taylor: The hacking jackets are great, and I haven't had any issues with the buttons falling off, but I've heard other bloggers report issues with them. Maybe J. Crew will replace the buttons?
The striped blazer looks like it was made for you – I think it'd fit right into your wardrobe!
Lisa: You're super sweet, thanks so much!!! I can't wait to see that beauty in person! Thanks SO much for being here!
I also liked the Water Lily necklace but after JulieStyles' review, I think I will wait to see it in the store. The silk cutaway top looks very pretty!
Louise: Like you, I'm worried about the necklace now. I grabbed it earlier today, and I'm hoping that it doesn't flop over. It's so cute! I agree, that silk cutaway top looks gorgeous! Thanks SO much for being here!
The 2 pencil skirts you like should go nicely with that top and necklace!
Rose: I totally agree!! That necklace will work well with most of the skirts in my closet! Thanks SO much for being here!
