Hi Everyone!
This is a quick post featuring an image I snapped while in the J. Crew retail store earlier this week. I LOVE how the No. 2 Pencil Skirt in Neon Tweed is styled here:
And, here is a picture of the top half of the outfit that I wore to church today. Navy on navy has been my go-to combination lately:
I’m wearing the J. Crew Navy Schoolboy Blazer in Linen, the J. Crew Talitha Blouse in Navy, the Stella and Dot Maldives Necklace, and the Modern Denim Skinny Jeans from Ann Taylor.
And, finally, two images of me working on my book–Starbucks is my second office:
This is what half of one of my bookshelves looks like as I finish this labor of love!:
Thanks for stopping by!
Love it all, but especially love the Starbucks and bookshelf! Almost got out the magnifying glass to read the spines of the book! I am so nosy!!!!
I looked at the spines. Heavy. I would have a lot of mental & emotional energy in that and much less in blogging, so I understand. Keep going! 🙂
oh, so much inspiration in this post- the fashion, the books, the frosty Starbucks (I'm dreaming of spring in all its forms…). I love the chevron pattern of the backdrop to the JC display too- reminds me of books! 🙂
Hi Rynetta, all my comments that I made earlier today on lots of blogs haven't shown up so I think my phone isn't working properly…. Anyway, love that necklace and thanks for sharing the pic of the neon tweed with the denim shirt. I love it!Good luck with the book!
Hi Reynetta,I've enjoyed your blog for some time, but just wanted to stop by to let you know how inspirational it is to see you working on your book. I'm just beginning my dissertation and it motivates me to know that I might be in your position one day!Keep on going and thanks so much for your wonderful blog!
*rynetta* sorry for the typo!
