rynetta, one more question.would you mind measuring the scarf for me.TIA
Hi Ina!Okay, I'm horrible with measurements. I will ask someone in the retail store to give me measurements when I go on Tuesday.More soon!
Hi Rynetta, so thankful you reviewed the Liberty shirts (this post and last). I am drooooling at this one, and although I can't fathom paying $150 for a cotton shirt, I may break the piggie bank for this one. The website pic showed the shirt pattern misaligned, so glad to see that IRL it's all lining up … very pretty! Thanks again!
Hi Closet Crisis!I'm SO glad that these reviews helped! Like you, I couldn't fathom paying $150.00 for these shirts…..until I saw them IRL, LOL! And, my educator discount helped to ease the blow!! You're right, the pattern lines up very well. I love the Liberty Prints! You're very welcome!!!Thanks SO much for being here!
I saw that shirt in the store yesterday and I agree… it's adorable.
Rose: You're right, this print is adorable!!! I can't wait to wear this beauty!!Thanks SO much for being here!
Hi Rynetta! I love this shirt on you! As always, you pick out the cutest items from J Crew! My PS actually recommended this top out of all of the Liberty prints. She recommended wearing it with white jeans while it's still hot and then maybe a colored pant in fall! I'd love to hear your take on the much talked about sequin zigzag tee. Looking forward to more reviews from you!
Hi AD MD!!Thanks SO much!!! What a super sweet compliment!!! I agree with your PS, this pattern is absolutely lovely. And, I love the styling ideas your PS suggested! About the sequin zigzag tee: Okay, I really wanted to like it; however, it was super hard for me to get it on and off. My amazing retail personal shopper actually had to help me get it off. I've seen reviews that suggest sizing up, which I may try. HTH!Thanks SO much for being here!
I love that shirt! I tried on 4 different Liberty print shirts last time I was in the store and I loved all of them. How did you decide which print to get?
cate: me too!!! Okay, I had a tough time making a decision too. And, I actually ended up grabbing two of the shirts……and, I'm considering a third in the blue print. I LOVE these liberty prints! Thanks SO much for being here!
Hi there! I have a dilemma- I love love these shirts but am busty with a wide back. I am usually an 8 but taking a 10 in these. Even the 10 feels a little tight when I cross my arms in front of me. Am I over thinking it?
Jojo: I think I may have responded to your question in another post. I sure hope so. I'd go with the larger of your two sizes in the Liberty shirt. I hope this helps! Thanks SO much for being here!
Thinking about getting this shirt tonight…. Wondering what solids would look best with it, both sweaters and pants. Any thoughts?
sewfrench.com: This is a great shirt! I'd say that you can pair it with blues and reds. The shirt is really versatile. I hope this helps! Thanks SO much for being here!
Thanks! I have this seasons bright blue pants and a sweater, but I went ahead and got the Kelly green Jackie cardigan based on your picture of you holding the green scarf with it! (I have that green and navy polka dot sweater and love it!)If that doesn't work it will work with my navy tweed slacks!I Love that I could use my 25% off everything coupon on a Liberty shirt!! Woo Hoo!
