Hi Everyone!
I was able to visit a J. Crew retail store in Ohio earlier today, and they had the Double-Strand Resin Link Frog Necklace in Daiquiri Ice. I’ve been eyeing this necklace on the website for a long time; however, I wanted to see it IRL. I LOVE this necklace, so I grabbed it! Someone may need to stage a J. Crew jewelry intervention soon, LOL!
Here are a few IRL pictures of the necklace:
What do you think of the J. Crew Double-Strand Resin Link Frog Necklace in Daiquiri Ice? Do tell!
Thanks for stopping by!
I was thinking the same thing. Rynetta, please step away from the jewelry cases. LOL
Angie's Closet: LOL! I'm trying to scale back on the jewelry purchases, but I just couldn't resist this lovely piece! Thanks SO much for being here!
I love it! I think collecting jewelry makes a lot of sense because it's easier to store than clothes. And jewelry easily changes the tone of an outfit you already own and makes it feel new. See, you are just being practical! 🙂
Cate: Thanks SO much!! Me too! I totally agree that jewelry is a lot easier to store than clothing. And, I can't tell you how right you are about jewelry changing the tone of an outfit. Initially, I resisted buying jewelry because I didn't get that. Boy am I glad that my perspective has changed! I am just being practical, LOL!!!Thanks SO much for being here!
What store in Ohio did you visit? (Im in Ohio) I would love to see it in person if they had more in stock. Was it on sale? You can never have too much jewelry!
Hi mini! I went to the Kenwood Mall in Cincinnati, Ohio. And, they had another one of these necklaces as of Saturday afternoon. It was full-price. And, you're right, you can never have too much jewelry! Thanks SO much for being here!
I love frogs, so I approve, of course. 😀 It's lovely, rynetta!
Rose: I LOVE frogs too!!! Thanks SO much! Thanks SO much for being here!
I have the same JCrew animal collection obsession you do…I started with the Giraffe necklace with the blush beads, and I couldn't get the others out of my head, so I caved and purchased the seahorse, frog, and the giraffe bangle…eek! I know that I would think about them years later and regret not snatching them up, though…and I'll remind myself of this when I have buyers remorse/spending shock! (I'm also an English teacher–not a professor…great minds think alike!)
Meggers: Something about these animals on a necklace is addictive, LOL! Great thinking–my rationale is always that I don't want to regret not purchasing something I love. And, great minds do think alike! I LOVE being an English professor!!!Thanks SO much for being here!
How fab is their jewllery just now?
Tabitha: I totally agree! J. Crew jewelry is really great now! Thanks SO much for being here!!
LOVE the necklace, especially with lavender. I too have a lot of J Crew necklaces, plus they always fit and last! I don't have one that color, so I think I might need to buy it….
Buffy Alten: Thanks SO much!!! This daiquiri ice color is gorgeous IRL!!! I'm glad that I'm not the only person with a lot of J. Crew necklaces!!!Thanks SO much for being here!
Love it!
Tammy: Thanks SO much!!! Me too!!!Thanks SO much for being here!
Just found your blog, and polyvore! LOVE! Thanks tons, I've been on it everyday for at least a week, and got some really fun things for great prices thanks to you (and all your great comment-ers). Teacher discount?! Who knew! Matching prices online/in store?! Didn't know that either! We've all been sick with the flu for the entire week, and they even called some things in for me from the store while I was home sick. Can't wait to see more polyvore pairings, especially with your navy bubble (I'm trying to commit!).
natalie malan: Yay!!! Welcome to my blog, I'm SO glad that you're here!! And, thanks for following me on polyvore too!!! I am so glad that I could help. I hope that you're feeling better. And, I'll definitely post more polyvore sets with the navy bubble necklace. I LOVE that necklace! Thanks SO much for being here!!!
