Hi Everyone!
I LOVE shirts with great prints, and I’ve always loved the J. Crew Liberty Print Shirts. Earlier this week, the wonderful ajc did a post about her Liberty Print Shirt collection here.
Here are a few reviews of the most recent J. Crew Liberty Print Shirts:
Liberty Perfect Shirt in Navy Paisley:
This shirt is already on backorder in my size online. My amazing online VPS tracked it down for me at the Prince Street store in NYC. I love this store when I’m shopping in NYC:
I LOVE this print!!!
Liberty Perfect Shirt in Glenjade–Fuchsia:
Liberty Perfect Shirt in Wiltshire:
My first Liberty Print Shirt purchase was the Suzannah Print in the spring of 2007. I remember snagging this baby on the sale rack at the Eastview Mall J. Crew in Victor, NY when we lived in upstate NY:
The details on the Liberty Shirts have changed a bit. This 2007 shirt has a few ruffles on the front and on the sleeves:
I love all of these prints; these shirts will be in constant rotation in my wardrobe!!!
What do you think of the J. Crew Liberty Perfect Shirts? Do tell!
Thanks for stopping by!
I have never seen a lberty print perfect shirt IRL,but i would like to try one out.I esp. like the one in the navy paisley!Have a great weekend!
Ina: I think that you'll really like the Liberty Print shirts! And, I agree, the Navy Paisley is a really great print! Thanks SO much of being here!
They are always so lovely. I try to put on blinders so as not to go after too many but to know them is to love them.
tiffany rose: I totally agree that these shirts are really lovely. I'm glad that my nearest retail store has finally started receiving these beauties! Thanks SO much for being here!
I agree, they are so nice. I think I like the Wiltshire one best, either that one or your oldest one with the ruffles, it's really special. Enjoy and have a great weekend!
cate: I agree that the Wiltshire liberty print shirt is really adorable. And, the shirt from 2007 has those extra special details that I love! Thanks SO much for being here!
Love this review! I've never felt that the Liberty shirts suited me very well, but I think I just fell for the Wiltshire print. I wish I could afford a few yards of it to make a duvet!
Whitney: Thanks SO much!!! OOOOO, you're right, the Wiltshire print would look great as a duvet! Thanks SO much for being here!
I bought the Indian Red in the same pattern as your navy paisley. *That* is one I'll be watching for!I did have to size up because of the shoulders and now it's a bit sloppy through the torso. I wonder if you think they stretch a bit and I could have been fine in the smaller size or if they ever run smaller?Thinking ahead to my next one!
sewfrench.com: I love the Indian Red print too! I took my normal size 12 in all of these shirts; however, there is a blue liberty print shirt from the previous rollout that didn't fit me properly in the size 12. I'm not sure that these shirts will stretch out. HTH!Thanks SO much for being here!
OOOhhh, I ordered that navy paisley Liberty shirt too! It's on it's way (due Monday) and I can't wait to see it! This is my first one. I have some other clothing with Liberty of London prints, but not from JC. Did you take your regular size? Do they fit like all JC blouses? I ordered my normal shirt size, and am hoping it fits! Thanks for the great IRL photos! All the other shirts are gorgeous as well. I'm liking the Fushia Glen-jade as well. 😀
Suzy: You're very welcome! I think that you're going to love the Navy Paisley print shirt. I did take my normal size 12, and these shirts fit me like all other J. Crew blouses. I think that your normal size will fit you well! Thanks SO much for being here!
R, these are so fun and look great on you!! i love that navy paisley. you're slowly enabling me here!! :)phiphi's blog
P: Thanks SO much!!!! LOL about slowly enabling you! I squealed when I pulled the Navy Paisley print out of the box! Thanks SO much for being here!
Hello! I've spent my day through J. Crew blogs and was scrolling through your posts… I did a double-take when you mentioned Eastview Mall in Victor, NY; as I was born, raised, and still live in the Rochester area! Too funny. Love all your outfits, and can't wait to read more! 🙂
Awesome prints, the good thing about these designs is they are available in various colors and fabrics, you can select one according to your requirements.
Ladies,J. Crew really disappointed me with these shirts. My second one, in Tea Rose, a silk cotton blend kept ripping. I have a fine "stitcher" that was able to repair it in a few areas but it is now relegated to the my rag bag. I have never seen such fragile fabric even after babying them in laundry.I have noticed that Liberty Prints are now 100% cotton.Any reports on them would be appreciated as they are beautiful!
