Hi Everyone!
Happy Wednesday! The sun is shining bright and I am SOOOO happy about it! The forecast is predicting rain for the next week or so in KY, so I want to soak up as much sun as I can before we get several days (about a week) of dreary weather. There is something SO mood lifting about beaming sunshine. So, today, I want to share several fun dresses that scream spring! I LOVE bold colors and fun floral prints, so I am (almost) ready to ditch the colder temperatures for warm weather!
The dress featured in the images below is SOOOOOOO cute! I knew that I was going to add the J. Crew Silk-Twill Ruffleneck Dress in Stripe to my wardrobe when it appeared on the J. Crew website. I mean, it’s pink and green, so my AKA loving heart just couldn’t resist this beauty. And, the details, as well as the fit, are spectacular. The ruffle sleeves, the split neckline, the front slit, the belt, they’re all SOOOO amazing! The dress is described as a “sheath silhouette”; however, I think that the fit is flowy and not as restrictive as most sheath dresses can be. I took my normal size 16, so fit is TTS in my opinion. 10/10 recommend this beauty.
In terms of styling, I paired my dress with my favorite gold earrings, my favorite Mary Jane Pink Suede heels, and one of my favorite bold pink purses. The dress also looks great with a neutral shoe or sandal (like it’s styled in the model shot on the J. Crew website).
Here are IRL pictures of the dress. Photos by Kirstie Dunston Photography:
Again, I highly recommend this dress!
