Hi Everyone!
Today, I am sharing my Friday Faves! I am LOVING all things gingham these days. Gingham is hands down one of my favorite patterns. The pattern really brings out my preppy side. And, I love how J. Crew adds a fresh twist to the pattern every season either by creating fun and unexpected color combinations or changing the scale and the size of the gingham print. J. Crew offers this pattern in a variety of pieces ranging from skirts, blazers, blouses, sweaters, sweater blazers, pants, jumpsuits, and an array of dress types including sheath, faux-wrap, maxi styles. I genuinely appreciate the varieties that are offered! Recently, I purchased the J. Crew High-Neck Jumpsuit in Gingham Cotton Poplin and I have to say that the style is incredibly flattering. The band in the midsection area is genius! The silhouette is absolutely stunning in my opinion. And, the color combination on this particular jumpsuit is unique, classic, and fun. The bow adds the perfect touch to this beautiful jumpsuit. This is an amazing piece. I took my normal size 16 in the jumpsuit, so the fit is TTS.
Here are IRL pictures of the jumpsuit. Photos by Samantha Moore Photography:
I paired the jumpsuit with a J. Crew Cotton Jackie Cardigan Sweater because I do not like to show my arms, but also because I wanted to add a fun pop of color. I love how the hot pink looks against this gorgeous blue gingham!
In addition to this gorgeous gingham jumpsuit, I am totally LOVING the J. Crew Women’s 2011 Icon Trench in Oversized Gingham. The fit is incredible and the trench is SOOO versatile. I have paired it with a fun graphic t-shirt and denim, as well as with the Belted Gingham Sheath Dress in B-Stretch Cotton. The details on both colorways of the trench are just SOOO cute and fun! Here is an IRL picture of the “Avril Gingham Pink Ivory” color:
I love that the collar features the contrasting navy ivory gingham pattern. It’s an adorable, fun, and unexpected design element! And, I love how the navy ivory sheath dress or pencil skirt would look fabulous with the pink peony colorway! The styling possibilities are endless. I took my normal size 14 in this fantastic trench.
