Hi Everyone!
Happy Sunday!! I hope that you’re having the best weekend. It has been a great week around here, thank goodness! It snowed last night and early this morning in KY, so it seems odd to discuss spring looks but we have to look forward, right?!?!
I LOVE snow and cold weather, but I am so looking forward to spring fashion! I love bold and vibrant colors, so spring looks always get me motivated! Today, I want to share five fun transitional spring outfits that will make the move from cold to warm temperatures effortless when it comes to wardrobe shifts.
The first outfit is one of my favorites because it is a bold pattern mixing look that features one of my favorite dresses. I love a great, classic popover dress that is easy to style with a neutral flat and a bold coat. Pairing a classic, striped popover dress with a fun and incredibly bold patterned coat elevates the look! And, neutral accessories and shoes help to balance the look. My shoes are perfect for work, for a fun date night, for brunch with friends, or for running errands! The shoes are SOOOOO versatile and comfortable. They’re an investment, but I assure you that they’re worth every penny. The shoes are the perfect spring transitional piece and they fit TTS. My coat is older from Kate Spade and my dress is older from J. Crew; however, I am linking to several equally cute pieces that create a similar look! Shop similar pieces (affiliate links below):
The second spring transitional outfit features an incredibly classic and versatile lightweight chino suit in the perfect pop of color! The suit is incredible. Be sure to read my blog post HERE for another fun way to style blazer.
I sized down from a 16 to a 14 in the blazer. The camisole and the pants both fit TTS for me. My shoes are older from J. Crew; however, I am linking to an equally cute pair of shoes that would create an adorable monochromatic look with the “faded pistachio” color of my suit.

The third/fourth spring transitional outfit features an incredibly versatile Liberty print shirt that looks great with jeans, with skirts, or with a suit. The colors in this gorgeous blouse scream spring! I paired my shirt with a great pair of J. Crew jeans, the J. Crew High-Rise Classic Straight Jean in Scuttle Wash. I sized up from a 32 to a 33 in these fabulous jeans. I have been wearing them non-stop!
And, here is another spring transitional outfit featuring an equally adorable and versatile J. Crew Liberty print, the J. Crew Tie-Waist Organic Cotton in Liberty Georgia Duke Print. Fit is TTS for me.

Finally, the Lilly Pulitzer Elsa Silk Top is the perfect transitional piece because it is SOOOO easy to style and to wear. The blouse is flowy and breathable and it looks great with a variety of bottoms including jeans (white or distressed) or dress pants for work. I own the Elsa Silk Top in a variety of colors and patterns and I highly recommend it. I wear an XL in the blouse, so fit is TTS for me.
Here are two different patterns of the Elsa styled with white denim and metallic gold sneakers:
