Current Faves!

Happy Friday!!!  I hope that you’ve had a great week!  I have had a great week, but honestly, I am looking forward to Sunday so that I can relax a bit after church.  I gave a Black History lecture Thursday night on campus and tomorrow I am leading a discussion about the movie, Beloved (based on Toni Morrison’s novel).  It has been a super busy week, but I am grateful for the opportunity to do what I love!

Today, I am sharing several of my current faves.  I have really been loving sweater-blazers lately.  A sweater-blazer is a must-have wardrobe builder in my opinion.  The piece is SO versatile and functional and it can be dressed up for work or dressed down for a super casual look.  I have been pairing my sweater-blazers with the perfect layering piece, the J. Crew V-Neck Camisole.  This camisole is hands down one of my faves.  It is incredibly flattering and comfortable.  The thing that I love the most is that the camisole is not clingy and it is offered in a variety of basic colors including subtle pink, black, and ivory.  A fun graphic t-shirt is also another great layering option!  Or, a classic chambray shirt would work, too.  The styling possibilities for these sweater-blazers are endless.
