Happy New Year!
I am SO excited about what 2015 holds for me and my amazing hubby! 2014 was the toughest year of my life. If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook, you already know that my mom passed away in September. She was an AMAZING mom. I mean flat out amazing. She called every single day just to say “I love you.” She was SO intentional about showing me and my sister how much she loved us. I can hear her telling me “keep going,” “you can do anything your mind can conceive,” and “never give up, keep pushing, you got this.” My mom celebrated ALL of our victories and she picked us up from every defeat.
With my mom as my inspiration, I am moving into 2015 more focused than ever. My motto for 2015 is “Just Do It.” I refuse to let naysayers, fears, past hurts and disappointments, or anything else, hinder me. I’ve always been a no excuses kind of person. My mom always described me as a “go getter.” So, this year, I am going to get all of the things that I have let elude me the past few years. I am going to “Just Do It” in 2015, and I encourage you to do the same.
Reaching my goals starts with positive thoughts. I will speak life every single day. I am using chalkboard images in this post because I am a visual learner/person. I will also write my dreams/goals down daily so that I can see them.
Finally, I will NEVER give up, no matter what!
I wish you a prosperous and magnificent 2015. I genuinely appreciate every person who takes the time to read my blog. Thank you SO much for sharing this space with me.
Keep moving forward, my friends.
Thanks for stopping by!

dianespainting: I am definitely praying for you. It is SO hard. There are days when I struggle to get out of bed, or when I cry my way out of the bed. I continue to tell myself that my mom would want me to press forward. That's what keeps me going. I am sending you hugs, hugs, and more hugs. All the best to you in 2015, too.
Big hugs to you, Rynetta. My father died in August and I miss him terribly, but like you I am trying to be as positive as possible!Much love and success to you in 2015

Rynetta, I am so sorry to hear of your dear mother's passing. (I am not on IG/intermittent on FB, and I didn't know previously.) Unfortunately, I can relate to your struggles in this particular area; the scripture "His grace is sufficient" comes to mind.

My thoughts go out to you, Rynetta. How very fortunate to have someone like your mom in your life. I hope time eases your pain and may you find new strength in your resolutions for the new year. I appreciate your reviews and wish you a happy and healthy new year.
